"Eso que todavía es, esencialmente habla"
Dionis Mascolo

Cómo explicar la falta de manchas
ante esa pared descascarada.
Él cuelga inmaculado,
después del día de trabajo,
los pies de peleador,
ha empezado a doler la calle,
ha comenzado a oler a tabaco.

El niño cuelga, harto de la escuela,
incluso duerme de a ratos
y tiene sueños que no cuenta,
sueños que son leves,
que lo hacen el otro hombre,
sueños que sería mejor no tener.

Ella no está, simplemente, no está.

"What still is, essentially speaks"

How to explain the lack of stains
facing that flaky wall.
He hangs immaculate,
after a day of work,
the fighter’s feet,
the street has begun to hurt,
he has begun to smell like tobacco.

The kid hangs, fed up with school,
he even sleeps at times
and has unspoken dreams,
dreams that are mild,
that declare him the other man,
dreams that’ll be better not to dream.

She is not there, simply, not there.
