Alas / Wings

Alas

Cuando, por primera vez,
pusiste un arma sobre mis manos, temblé;
Aún no he visto su boca abierta,

Wings

When you first
put the weapon over my hands, I shivered;
I knew that you, or me, or the time,
could use it for the greater good of the three of us.
I haven’t seen its open mouth yet,
but I did came closer to smell the gunpowder.

This is a huge morning,
I say to myself before starting my routine,
this is the hour in which the domestic animals
start stalking and get closer,
until once again it falls, the night,
and we’ll graze, luckily, the butterflies.

  1. Limits you don´t dare to trespass, just got cowardly hidden by CGI?

  2. I don't think so, you're focusing on the guy but maybe the snake is the main character here. Brian

Maravilloso. Caro
